Privacy Policy
Last updated: To be finalized before public App Store submission.
This page is the launch structure for Tably’s App Store privacy policy. Legal owner/contact details and final retention periods will be added before the public app listing.
What Tably does
Tably is an iPhone app that helps you set aside Safari tabs with the reason they mattered, then return to them later when it is time to decide.
What Tably stores on your device
Tably stores the items you intentionally set aside, including:
- saved link / URL
- page title and domain
- your context note
- intent or category you choose
- local review state, such as ready, later, done, snoozed, or deleted
- local activity counts used to show and improve your own workflow
This information is stored locally on your device by default.
What Tably does not do
- Tably does not read all of your open Safari tabs.
- Tably does not scan your browsing history.
- Tably does not read page content from sites you did not intentionally share.
- Tably does not automatically close Safari tabs for you.
- Tably does not require an account to start.
- Tably does not sell your data.
Optional diagnostics and messages
If you choose to submit diagnostics or a message inside the app, Tably may send app version, build number, iOS version, device type, aggregate activity counts, your selected answers, and optional comment text you type.
Optional diagnostics do not include saved URLs, page titles, saved notes, page content, browsing history, or all-tab data. Links and email addresses typed into optional comments are removed where technically possible.
Service providers
Tably uses Cloudflare Pages Functions and Cloudflare D1 to receive and store optional diagnostic/message submissions. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP address and request metadata, to provide hosting, security, and logging services.
How information is used
Locally stored app data is used to provide Tably’s core functionality: saving context, resurfacing items, and helping you decide what happens next.
Optional submissions are used to understand whether Tably is useful, diagnose issues, and improve the product. They are not used for advertising or tracking.
Retention and choices
Data stored on your device remains there until you delete items, reset local activity counts, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove it using iOS controls.
Optional submissions are retained for a period to be finalized before launch. Because Tably does not require an account, deletion requests for optional submissions may require enough detail to identify the record.
Contact
Contact details will be added before public App Store submission. For now, use the support page as the canonical support location.
